Water damage restoration

Water-related disasters require fast action.

Water is one of the most destructive forces to property, buildings and their inhabitants. The damage becomes even more severe when unsanitary water is involved or when cleanup and drying services are delayed.

Natural disasters, burst pipes and toilet overflows can damage properties within minutes. A fire sprinkler can disperse 30 to 50 gallons of water per minute, and broken pipes can release even more. By the time the water is shut off or the fire department arrives, the damage can spread across multiple floors and critical systems.

Sigma's dispatch center is staffed by knowledgeable Sigma employees, ready to send the appropriate personnel to any emergency site, with state-of-the-art equipment owned and maintained by Sigma. Our teams train weekly on the latest safety protocols and equipment, and we are prepared to handle your project from the initial dry-down phase to the final touches of reconstruction.

  • Ice and snow buildup

Sigma's certified and highly trained team is equipped to restore your property to its pre-loss condition swiftly and efficiently. No matter the scale of the damage, we bring your property back to its original state with precision and care.

Fire damage restoration

Restored from start to finish.

According to FEMA, a fire can engulf an entire property within just five minutes. The heat and smoke can be even more hazardous than the flames, while secondary damage like smoke and soot can lead to costly repairs.

If you have experienced the devastation of fire damage, Sigma is here to restore your property from start to finish. Every emergency is assigned a dedicated Sigma project manager or superintendent who oversees the entire restoration process.

They coordinate the necessary trade subcontractors to begin restoring your property immediately. Sigma's trade partners and subcontractors are thoroughly screened and required to carry high levels of insurance, certifications and specialized skills, so every job meets the highest Sigma standards.

Mold remediation

When there is visible mold, remediation is essential.

Mold is all around us, and in small amounts we can live with it. But after a natural disaster or water intrusion, building interiors can become magnets for exponential mold growth, which can lead to serious health problems for some people.

After water damage, our preferred method is to properly clean and dry surfaces and materials to prevent mold growth. If that is not possible, our mold remediation teams recommend removal based on the size and scope of the contamination, and may bring in a Certified Industrial Hygienist for consulting and testing.

While few laws govern how mold remediation must be done, we follow guidelines for the safe removal and disposal of mold-contaminated items published by the IICRC (Institute for Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification), the EPA and state requirements.
